A Continuation of the Story
How values live at ACE, and the responsibility we share in carrying them forward.
Hands + Hearts reflects how values are lived at ACE through the work and the people who do it. This page continues that story, shared here with those who have been given the book. Digital copies are available below for anyone who would like to read along or pass it on to family and others.
This book was created because what happens here matters, and not everything that matters fits neatly into a policy, a value statement, or a page on a website. Much of what makes ACE work lives in habits, in judgment, and in the way people treat one another when the work is hard or the answer isn’t obvious. Hands + Hearts was made to notice those things, to slow down long enough to name them, and to reflect back what many people here already know but don’t often hear said out loud, that the quality of the work and the way people are treated are inseparable. The book isn’t meant to define the culture or explain it away. It’s meant to recognize it, and to help protect it by paying attention to how it’s lived, every day.
What comes next depends on how each of us carries that responsibility forward, in the work, in the choices we make, and in the way we show up for one another.
